“Your tiny fingers trying to clutch the air,
Your sudden chuckles, your eyes that stare,
Make my heart melt, for it is a feeling never before felt.”
Childbirth is a very special occasion in a couple’s life. It is an ecstatic moment when your heart is so full of love for a tiny tot you have never seen; only felt kicking inside the womb for 9 months. Gurdeep and Amit’s world lit up on 22nd May 2014, with the arrival of a sweet little boy – Aryan. The delivery was a little complicated. The adorable little boy was born via C-section. Aryan’s birth was a turning point in the lives of this couple. They had tied the knot after a struggle of almost 5 years as they belonged to different communities. But the arrival of Aryan changed everything, it brought them closer to each other, as well as their parents. Gurdeep describes how fidgety Aryan got in the womb, specially when she had to go out somewhere or when music was being played.
Aryan is a jolly, playful child, who enjoys music and loves to dance to the beats of ‘Badshah’ and ‘Honey Singh’ songs. He is hooked to the TV the whole day and his mother says its easier to feed him while he is listening to music. Gurdeep’s job requires traveling a lot so Aryan misses her. While Gurdeep is away, Amit looks after his toddler. Aryan is closer to his maternal grandmother. He catches up pretty fast; he already knows his ABC’s and 123’s. He can even tell you the current prime minister’s name. (the makings of a brilliant child!) Aryan is also pretty good at mimicry. The first word that he spoke was ‘mumma’, followed by ‘papa’. This was a really special moment for the couple. Now he tries to speak a lot more, even though he isn’t able to do so fluently. Gurdeep recollects how Aryan gets jealous when his father shows affection towards her or hugs her. (Gurdeep, surely enjoys the attention from the father-son duo! 😉 )
The couple decided to celebrate Aryan’s 1st birthday grandly. He was a lucky boy as he had 2 parties thrown for his birthday. The 1st celebration took place at their Faridabad home, where the children of the society were invited. Aryan enjoyed himself thoroughly, playing around with the other children. For the next party, they booked a banquet hall in Jasola- Hotel Zara Grand.
Aryan was in a jolly mood and looked elegant in an ehnic attire. The shopping for the event was done from NIT, Faridabad and Crown Interior Mall, Faridabad- a favourite destination for shoppers. The return gifts and decorative items for the birthday were purchased from Sadar Bazar- a huge wholesale market. The birthday cake, ordered from Indian Bakery, Indra Market, Noida; was beautiful as well as delicious.
The event was covered by Pari Photography. All in all, the party was a huge hit. Aryan danced to the beats of several feet-tapping songs and even the guests couldn’t avoid the dance floor. Have a look at some wonderful moments from the event-
I wish the little munchkin all the best in life! Keep smiling! Keep dancing! :*
