Few of the best things in your life can happen in most unexpected ways. The fairy tale of Arhamna and Omar is a classic example, where a series of coincidences brought the two of them together. It all started when Omar saw Arhamna in one of his friends’ photographs and simultaneously, his parents saw her at a wedding. When he was shown the picture of the girl, it turned out to be the same girl he saw in his friends’ photographs! “Everything felt like it was destined, for all that happened felt like a dream!”Arhamna adds.
As it was an arranged marriage, they did not talk to each other initially, but this did not stop them from stalking each other on social media. The couple was already so much in love, that they used to complete each other’s shayaris and couplets on Facebook! *These guys are such romantics! ;)*
Omar was in New Zealand and our poor girl had to deal with a lot of trouble due to their different time-zones. But this adorable couple, did not let this triviality come in the way of their happiness. Everything went on smoothly as this couple share a superb understanding. All the preparations were complete in no time and they got hitched on 18th of October, 2014!
She recalls a light hearted moment from her vidai ceremony. She unfolds a particular moment when her elder sister couldn’t stop her tears and Arhamna started laughing. Everyone around also started laughing watching the two and this sad moment turned into a funny memory to cherish!
The wedding took place at ‘The Landmark’ in Bhopal. The venue was a very calm and serene lush green garden. The decoration and the stage was as endearing and beguiling as our couple. They also arranged a reception for their guests the next day at ‘Hotel Lake View Ashok’, Bhopal which was a lavish affair.
The couple kept the event, an intimate affair and so the photography was done, keeping this in mind. The wedding was covered by Amin and Photographers, one of the best wedding photographers in town.
The bride looked ravishing and was groomed by Nikki Bawa, a splendid makeup artist in Bhopal. She made the bride look more captivating by keeping the bridal look subtle and refreshing.
The couple celebrated their first anniversary exploring the country of New Zealand starting from the island of Paihai, “One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to” , adds Arhamna as she describes how they spent their days there parasailing at the highest peaks of New Zealand, shopping and enjoying themselves at different mesmerizing locations around the place. “Omar had booked a resort and it was our first night in Paihai. It was also our first wedding anniversary and he had planned the whole evening; which started with shopping, a candle light dinner and he made the cake out of the left over garlic bread! *It could not get any better, this guy knows the right way to the girls heart! :)*
“Nobody is perfect, but imperfection is beauty”, she says as she describes how lucky she is to find a partner like Omar. In her words, “You can tell a lot about a person just by the way he looks and treats you. Its important to become friends before becoming partners and that’s when you share a transparency in your relation. It all comes down to how the person is, when your honeymoon period is over… Do you still feel those butterflies in your stomach, when he comes back home? Does he help you with the household? Does he wake you up in the middle of the night for random ice cream walks or coffee?? Does he spoil your perfectly arranged wardrobe and smiles and asks you to do it again, but helps you instead of leaving? If yes, then my friend! You have a perfectly imperfect husband that completes you in every possible way he can!”
The couple hopes to be as happy as they are now, and to have complete faith in what they have for each other. Marriage for them is a fun adventure and they are learning a lot from each other.
We are head over heels in love with the chemistry this couple shares and wish them a very happy married life ahead!
