Getting married to your long term friend, is seemingly the secret of a happy love marriage. The protagonist of this story-Nancy and Rohit are the perfect example. Their fairy tale marriage starts from a 10 year long relationship-cum-friendship. Nancy met Rohit through their 2 mutual friends, whose match they were trying to fix; but at the end, destiny brought Rohit and Nancy together. They lived in the same colony, started going to the same tuition. Nancy’s charm and Rohit’s protective nature started building their relationship more stronger. There were good times and even bad ones, as is common in every relationship. Nancy and Rohit also has a seperation period for 6-7 months, when Rohit went to Shimla for his further studies, but as it is said “Dooriyan bhi hain zaroori” 😉 Every relationship goes through a struggle, but only strong relationships get through it. The other struggle for the to-be-bride, was not knowing how to cook; but, her love overcame this obstacle easily, as she was able to make the gol chapattis in just 2 months. 😛
After the engagement which took place in December, the Date of the wedding was finalized on 18th April. Given the time restraint, the shopping for their wedding started in January itself. As Nancy was very close to her mother, she chose her as perfect shopping partner. Nancy and her mother were joined by Nancy’s sister Silky, who helped her with a huge chunk of the wedding shopping. The soon-to-be bride decided to go with her hometown Delhi to collect her shopping stuff for the supreme wedding and for the various functions. She chose a flawless green attire for her Sagan ceremony, and a beautiful pink lehenga for her D-Day.
The adorable couple tied their knot on 18th April at Richmond Le Castle, GT Karnal Road.It was the perfect wedding destination that turned their D-Day into a royal affair. The wedding was hosted by the Luthra family (Bride’s side). It was a vibrant and a peppy affair with all the rituals performed gracefully.
THE MAKE-UP ARTIST
Selecting the perfect make-up artist is the foremost thing in the planning for a bride. Kriti DS at Pushpanjali Enclave was chosen as the make-up artist for the bride. Kriti did a fabulous job in enhancing the bride’s beauty at its best. Nancy dazzled in her bridal avatar and her stunning looks were well appreciated by her friends and family.
The pre-wedding photoshoot and the wedding photography was covered by the Satnam Art Productions. Selection of the photographer was a good choice by the couple as the photographs were elegant and magnificent. The photographer displayed his excellent photography skills by creating enticing and appealing memories for the couple of their big day.
Marriage has proven to be a beautiful turn in the couple’s life, as well as their families. Leaning on each other’s strength; and forgiving each other’s weaknesses is their mantra to a happy marriage. Due to Nancy’s passport issue, they could not leave for their honeymoon, but they are planing to leave on October to have a fantastic vacation in Europe.
I wish the couple loads of love and luck for their married life. Hope your love and understanding remains the same always and you live happily ever after!
